Snap
Snap pea is a green vegetable cum fruit which has a high content of dietary fiber. You can take this food in raw and toasted forms, both. History
Snap pea, commonly known as sugarsnap peas is one of the different species of pea. It’s a sweet flavored food which is Asian in origin. Binomially, it is known as pisum sativum. This vegetable belongs to the legumes family of fabaceae, and can be easily grown in your garden and field crops, too. It’s an ancient crop which is rich in nutrition and only demands a decent soil, a cold climate and a vine support to grow.

Fresh snap pea is an excellent source of folic acid. Folic acid is considered an essential element in the diet which is also recommended for expectant mothers and helps in preventing neural defects in newborn babies.
