Broccoli

Broccoli is a hardy biennial plant that can grow up to 3ft tall. It has broad, thick leaves and has a thick main stalk. There can be single or multiple flower heads of tiny green flower buds. The flower heads are actually eaten before they achieve full bloom and the buds become tiny yellow flowers.
